Originally founded as Malcolm Smith and Partners in 2001 by Malcolm Smith and his daughter Fiona, the practice became MSP Legal Services in 2008.

Malcolm began practising in 1973 and was born and bred in Hartlepool.
His wealth of experience and expertise is what has grown the business and the client base to what it is today. Malcolm is a specialist in Corporate Law and Commercial Law including Commercial Property. Malcolm also provides specialist advice as part of the Wealth Management team with particular interest in Trusts and tax relief.
Fiona Jones, Managing Partner
Inspired by her father, Fiona Jones (nee Smith) qualified in 2000 into Property, having trained with a North East practice. Fiona is managing partner of MSP Legal Services and heads up the Property and Wills and Probate departments.
Andy Jones, Solicitor Advocate

Andy has been practising since 1999 having qualified into Civil Litigation. Andy joined MSP Legal services in 2004 from one of the largest practices in the North East, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in Specialist Litigation. Andy was admitted as a Solicitor Advocate in 2006 and heads up the Specialist Litigation department. Andy’s unrivalled experience in this sector has led him to become a highly successful Litigation lawyer representing clients in the County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Lands Tribunal. In 2004 Andy became a partner in the practice.

Michael Joined MSP Legal Services from a well established Teesside practice in 2001. Michael specialises in Residential Property.
