Our Wills and Probate department, which is headed by solicitor and Managing Partner, Fiona Jones, offers a sensitive and personal service to clients. Wills are a key element in Estate planning. The preparation of a carefully planned Will can offer significant tax advantages as well as affording clients an opportunity to plan and provide for their family after their death.
At MSP Legal Services we offer a fixed cost for the preparation of a standard Will which will include a personal attendance with a Wills and Probate solicitor, provision of a draft Will for your approval and then providing the facility to sign and witness the Will. As an additional service, at no extra cost, we offer a free secure storage facility to hold the final Will so that you have total piece of mind that the document will not be misplaced.
Our specialist Probate team is there to relieve some of the burden of administering an Estate during the most difficult and traumatic of times. We handle all matters relating to the deceased’s Estate to include gathering all of the deceased’s assets, discharging any debts and liabilities that require settlement and then distributing the proceeds of the Estate in accordance with any Will that the deceased may have made.MSP Legal Services are a founder member of Certainty, the UK’s national Will Register which ensures that a Will is not overlooked, lost or untraced following death.
Elderly Advice
At MSP legal Services we provide specialist advice to elderly clients in connection with their personal affairs, in particular Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. These are normally granted to enable relatives, friends or professional advisers to administer affairs of the elderly or inform, in turn assisting them with their daily lives.
